GastroBeats - Festival Village of i Light Singapore

GastroBeats returns to Bayfront Event Space as the festival village of i Light Singapore 2026. In its fifth year, the event celebrates Singapore's cultural tapestry across food, music, and sports.

Up to 40 vendors serve up classic and modern dishes, alongside a new Elevated Dining Zone offering artisanal and bespoke F&B options.

Coinciding with the June school holidays, this edition brings new dynamic spaces featuring pickleball – developed in partnership with EPIC World Championship - and arcade games for the entire family to enjoy. Live band performances take centre stage daily throughout the Festival, showcasing a mix of established and emerging artists.

Food

This year's vendor line-up brings together returning favourites and exciting new additions, spanning classic and contemporary flavours. Jett BBQ makes its mark with authentic Texas barbecue, slow-smoked over 8 to 12 hours using equipment brought directly from Texas. Joining them is rice., a festival-exclusive debut from The Meatmen Channel's content-to-table concept, offering a menu built around bold Asian flavours and communal plates. Rounding out the line-up, Sea High serves up seafood boils, satay, sambal stingray and lala on banana leaf.

Music

GastroBeats partners Sony Music for the GastroBeats x Sony Music GIGs Mentorship Programme, offering aspiring musicians hands-on guidance in songwriting, production, artist identity, and the practicalities of the music industry. Mentors include singer-songwriter Jason Yu, indie band Oakë (whose original track Where the Heart Will Stay has surpassed 600,000 streams on Spotify) and producer Evan Chan. Participants and their mentors will perform live on the GastroBeats stage across the festival period.

Returning to the stage are three of Singapore's beloved live acts: 53A, whose infectious blend of pop, rock, soul and funk has made them a staple of the local music scene; SuperSonic, a versatile cover band with a wide-ranging repertoire spanning genres; and Jive Talking, a veteran outfit that has shared the stage with music legends such as B.B. King, Kenny G and Gloria Estefan.
