Q1. What is i Light Singapore all about?
As the place manager of Marina Bay, the Urban Redevelopment Authority
(URA) of Singapore organises and facilitates exciting activities in the
precinct in collaboration with other government agencies and private stakeholders.
i Light Singapore is one such event. Conceived in 2010 as one of several
initiatives to inject vibrancy to Marina Bay, the light festival also promotes
an important message of sustainability and advocates an environmentally-conscious
way of life. The Festival has grown over the years to showcase not just
light art installations, but also an array of complementary programmes.
Returning this year, the Festival will run from 29 May – 21 June 2025.
Q2. Do I have to pay admission fees to visit i Light Singapore 2025?
General admission to the Festival is free, while charges apply for certain programmes.
Q3. What are the opening hours for i Light Singapore 2025?
The opening hours for the Festival are 7.30pm to 11.00pm daily, with extended hours to 12.00am on Fridays and Saturdays. Opening hours for various programmes may vary.
Q4. How do I get to Light Singapore 2025 via public transport?
Most MRT lines (East-West Line, North-South Line, Downtown Line, Circle Line and Thomson-East Coast Line) have stops near the festival area. The nearest stations to the main festival area at Marina Bay and satellite sites at Raffles Place, South Beach and along Singapore River are:

· Downtown (DT17)
· Esplanade (CC3)
· Marina Bay (NS27/TE20/CE2)
